The United Nations Decade of Action on Nutrition (2016-2025)

DESCRIPTION

In order to alleviate the massive global burden of suffering and unfulfilled potential resulting from all forms of malnutrition, Member States of the United Nations proclaimed the United Nations Decade of Action on Nutrition in 2015. UN-wide, convened by the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) and the World Health Organization (WHO), the Decade unites all countries and stakeholders around a common framework and increases the visibility, efficiency and effectiveness of nutrition action at all levels worldwide. On the basis of this common framework, WHO, in partnership with UNITAR, has developed the e-learning course The United Nations Decade of Action on Nutrition.
